Banana Nutella Milkshake

Who can deny a milkshake? Not me, even when it is so cold outside, I crave something cold and sweet. Nothing beats nutella and the combination with a banana, it is pure bliss. This recipe is simple and makes for a thick flavorful shake. We will use a frozen banana instead of a fresh one and also use cocoa powder for a stronger chocolatey taste without overdoing the nutella.

Cook Time – 5 Minutes

Serves – 2

Milk – 1 Cup

Vanilla Ice cream – 3 Scoops

Nutella – 2 Tablespoons

Unsweetened Cocoa powder – 1/2 Tablespoon

Frozen Banana – 1

Blend all the above ingredients and serve immediately! If you find it is too thick add a splash of milk.

Have you tried to make this with almond milk?
    I am lactose intolerant.

I haven’t but you could definitely substitute the milk with almond milk, my husband uses it and we have tried other shakes with it.

Yay! If you don’t want to do ice cream, you could do vanilla greek yogurt too!

      1. Good idea, I don’t tend to keep ice cream in the house in the cold weather but we’ve always got Greek yoghurt 😊

Yeah just need to add honey or a sweetner of your choice. Or you could just do two Frozen bananas too!
